Terri is the greatest.
My sister and I went to Shin Pond in June 2008, Terri was the best she knew we wanted to see a moose and she took us out to Sawtel early one morning and we went canoeing. It was great we saw several moose including a mama and her twin babie's. One of the best vacations we have ever had.I certainly plan on returning next year, but a little later in the year the black flies and mosquitos were bad. We rented the Looney Loft it was great. You might want to take a couple of fan's as it does get hot. Thanks again Terri.

I love Shin Pond too =]
I used to go up to Maine every summer and the one thing i looked forward to the most was going to Shin Pond with my family. Their ice cream is the best! I havent been there in about 5 years but hopefully i will be next summer. I cant wait! And everyone is just so nice up there.Thanks for showing me such a good time. =]

Shin Pond is Maine at it's finest
To Terry, Craig and the rest of the gang at Shin Pond Village, I would like to compliment you all on your excellent website. I love travelling up to Shin Pond whether it is snowmobiling in the winter or fishing in the summer. I would like to thank you all as you have made my kids and I feel welcome since the first time that we met. Shin Pond Village exemplifies the true spirit of Maine, “the way life should be.” From stopping in and getting a little expert advice on the multitude of snowmobile trails to having one of the locals step in and help my daughter land a 17” Bass, Shin Pond Village is a place that I speak highly about and refer to all of my friends. Thanks for the good memories.

Love Shin Pond Village
I have been going to Shin Pond Village for the last several years on a yearly snowmobiling trip to Maine and have fallen in love with the place. Great people, great lodging, reasonable prices. The trails are usually in great shape and when nobody else has snow they do. You can't beat the scenery either.Teri and Craig are wonderful people who will go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. A member of our party needed a part for his sled this year and Teri alowed him to borrow the part off of a sled that was for sale there. That''s not something that most people would do. Every year my friends and I consider going someplace else but always wind up at Shin Pond. They're a tough act to follow. I would highly recommend Shin Pond to All snowmobilers, sportsmen, and campers. Keep up the great work !!!!!

My family vacationed in Maine in 2003 and the highlight of our vacation was Shin Pond. We stayed in a comfortable cottage overlooking a serene meadow and pond. My son, daughter, grandson, and I took your advice, put our canoes in the lake water very early in the morning and were rewarded with the beautiful sight of moose alongside the lake and down in the water. Our pictures continue to amaze our friends back home in Oklahoma, our memories are still very vivid, and we talk about that trip still. Thank you for your friendly hospitality while we visited Shin Pond Village. And for the memories we took with us and continue to enjoy. Cheryl, Shane, Heather and Nicky Nelson

O man I love it up there so much! I dont get to go up much because the family doesnt go up enough ... I have a camp on Mt. Chase ... I miss it and everytime we are there we come eat at the village! I love it so much! Cant wait until next time! Miss Everyone and everything!
